			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Business Management is a challenge in today’s corporate world; a number of business units are going down and other are fighting for survival. Reason is lack of environmental scanning and knowledge about organizational competency. Today’s era, business units are more focused on short term goals and immediate process.</p>
<p><strong>1. Vision</strong></p>
<p>All great organizations are vision oriented. The leader should be visionary, the captain of the ship, the man who used to drive the organization. Vision directs the organization and point out exact destination point but vision should be practical.</p>
<p>It’s always suggested by management philosophers; Visionary should be a neutral one who looks every things from the top. He should be more involved to direct the entire resources rather than to be involved in operation or sales management.</p>
<p><strong>2. Mission</strong></p>
<p>Mission are different stages to achieve the vision. Mission checks out the way and speed of process to achieve the vision. Mission should be treated as vision for short term. It’s generally found &#8211; If an organization set a vision with out dividing it into missions; may goes to wrong way. Mission is a systematic plan of action for vision.</p>
<p>Mission is managed by top and middle level managers in an organization. They keep vision in their mind and work for mission. They people used to be a good observer and have good sense of controlling.</p>
<p><strong>3. Market or Territory</strong></p>
<p>It’s difficult for a business to grow without its proper market segmentation. It is the area where the organization operates. The place from where you get your revenue. Organization should be dedicate to dominate this territory and would like to keep your monopoly in this segment. In today’s competitive market, it’s recommended to go for boundary less territory. Online marketing and promotion is a solution for same.</p>
<p>In this competitive era; Market and territory should be defined in terms of brands not as per product category. For example: lets say; automobiles industry; Toyota has potential in different market or countries and Rolls-Royce has different. We can not that particular territory is good for product.</p>
<p><strong>4. Infrastructure</strong></p>
<p>Organization needs a control tower &#8211; a place from where all action plan and strategies are made. It’s from here that your central operational and administrative work is done. It’s the nucleus and the center of any organization or enhances reliability of organization.</p>
<p>Infrastructure also includes technological, operational, materialistic capabilities of an organization. Sound technological hand provides better and quick returns with minimum Rick.</p>
<p><strong>5. Financial Resources</strong></p>
<p>Finance is an extremely important resource of an organization. It is the backbone of any business unit and identity in capital market. A strong and well-managed finance is the heart of any organization and provide a competitive edge to business unit or organization.</p>
<p>Sound Financial support provides a competitive edge to the organization and always helps to survive in hard time. One of a management guru used to says that – “if you are looking a harsh competition in forth coming future than you have to be more financially strong to overcome your competitors.”</p>
<p><strong>6. Human resources – The Team</strong></p>
<p> </p>
<p>When an individual or a group goes to war, we need a well-equipped and trained and skilled army. For an organization; the army consists of co-worker team; who are ready to fight for the organization. Every member of organizational team is important not equally to get win on competitors. The sales force, the operational team, the accountant, the HR, the driver, the peon all levels of hierarchy has its own worth.</p>

<p>It’s all similar as basis computer programming logic; you will not get quality output until you don’t give proper inputs. Its found in a survey; a company having smart, capable, dedicated and satisfied work force receive higher returns of profit rater than a company that believe in hire and fire. Employee performance is directly proportional to employee’s skills and motivation from organization subject to career growth rate.</p>

<p><strong>7. The Allies</strong></p>
<p>In life one should have friends who have same nature, dreams or thoughts. Being, in the same ship, friends can identify with that individual and stay close. He is the one whom one can depend upon when problems arise. Same as allies, they have same ethics, business segment, and vision or business approach. Allies keep the organization on right track and also guide the key personals for correct move. Allies enhance profitability and process control for mutual benefits.</p>
<p>Here I am trying to pen down some business evaluation parameters. It’s not only for corporate environment while its also works for an individual’s self management. So let’s try these and re-evaluate our business unit/self.</p>
